At 4 Fold Ministries, we partner with other Christian Ministries that are already ministering in their local communities on the mission field. We come along side of them to help them with projects, funding, and events, and community outreach. We do not believe in "reinventing the wheel". There is no need for 4-Fold Ministries to start ministries when other Christian Ministries are already working in these areas.
Harmonyville Baptist Church is a church plant that was formed through 3 years of ministry. Through those 3 years, many came to know Christ or were helped in their walk, so through home groups and outreach there was need for a building for them to gather together for worship, and Harmoyville Baptist Church was formed. They celebrated their 7th anniversary as a church this past July. Each year a mission team goes along side the workers of HBC and helps facilitate a Vacation Bible School for the children and youth. There are also opportunities for mission teams to hold revivals and community outreach events in the village. The church and village look forward to all forms of help as they seek to share the Gospel and disciples those the Lord has in their church. This church is now working to plan another church 7 miles down the road from them.
Marla's House of Hope is a Belizean ministry that takes in young girls that have ether been removed from their home because of abuse or neglect. Marl's also accepts long girls that have been rescued from sex trafficking. These girls are placed unwed the house mothers care and raised until they are eighteen years old. After that, they are released to go out into the world. We partner with Marla's to help with backpacks, school supples, and hygiene products for young girls. The ladies on the mission team, go in and have a time of worship with them. They also are encouraged to bring hair products (i.e. hair bands, barrettes, etc.), nail polish, combs, and brushes to pamper the girls while there. This is a great time to show the love of Jesus through practical means of love.
4-Fold Ministries has partnered with Yasha Home for the past two years. Tasha Home is a transitional living facility in the capital city of Belize. Their ministry is to young girls that have been in NGO for children. When these girls age out of care in other facilities they have little to no place to go, accept to the situations or homes they had previously been removed from. Yasha Home takes them in and allows them a safe and empowering environment. They do so by giving a safe place to stay and an opportunity to gain employment outside of the facility. They are then taught how to care for themselves, cook, clean, keep a schedule, budgeting and finances. Yasha Home allows the mission team to encourage the girls in the next step in their life past institutional living.
Hedges Estate is a ministry of the Nazarene Church of Belmopan. Hedges takes men out of prison and off the streets who want to change their lives. The men that are accepted into Hedges are trained to work on the farm at their facility to help sustain the ministry and to create in them a sense of worth and purpose. They are also required to go through the facility's discipleship program where they have bible study, bible reading, and devotional time each day. This is all done without charge to the men or their families. The men are allowed to remain at the facility as long as they adhere to the rules. Whenever the men feel they are ready, they are released with hopes that they stay free from addictions and jail, and become productive citizen of Belize.
